In order to meet your different uses, Acim Jouanin offers you suitable resistors:
- Peripheral heating on one or more areas of the barrel by heating belts or over the entire height by blankets;
- Treatment of the most sensitive materials (food, cosmetics, etc.) by low power density belts;
- Possibility of boosting the heating by adding additional heat provided by a heating base located under the barrel;
- Optimized temperature control thanks to integrated or outsourced regulation.
Products
Heating of IBC Drums and Containers: solutions adapted to your needs
- Metal belts: Suitable for metal drums, these rigid and robust belts can cover a great height (up to 200 mm ). Weakly charged (less than 1 W/cm² ), the most powerful models can reach 3600 W. Wide range available, for drums from 25 to 200 litres. They are equipped with adjustable thermostats up to 300°C max .
- Silicone belts: Flexible models intended for heating sensitive products in metal drums, thanks to their low load ( 0.5 Wcm² max ). Resistant to humidity, they are equipped with an adjustable thermostat up to 120°C max . Their double electrical insulation does not require earthing. Power up to 1500W .
- Flexible covers: Suitable for plastic and metal drums, these covers cover the entire height of the drum and allow heating up to 90°C max for plastic containers and up to 220°C max for metal containers . Lightweight, they are equipped with locking clips for easy installation. Wide range available from stock, for drums from 25 to 200 litres.
- Drum heating bases : Consisting of a steel structure, these bases can be used to heat metal drums up to 200 litres. They can be used in addition to belts and heating blankets. Powerful ( 1800 W ) and able to operate up to 300°C , it is a rapid heating system.
- IBC heating covers: Equipped with 2 or 3 independent heating circuits depending on the model, these covers make it possible to adapt the heating according to the level of product contained in the container and facilitate the withdrawal of highly viscous material. Available in 2 thermostat ranges: 0 …+40°C or 0 …+90°C
- Insulating blankets: They allow the temperature to be maintained after the heating of the barrel. These blankets can be used in addition to the heating bases in order to reduce the heating time. Easy to install , they have a flap to allow access to the barrel bung.
- Immersion heater heaters: Thermal supplement allowing core heating, they are introduced vertically through the barrel or IBC bung. Power up to 1500 W.
