Cartridge Heaters
CCHC high density cartridge heaters can concentrate a very high heat flux, up to 50 W/cm² and an operating temperature of up to 800°C, subject to an H7 bore.
Main characteristics :
- 80/20 nickel-chrome heating wire wound on a sintered magnesia core, insulated with magnesium oxide;
- Stainless steel metal shield;
- Standard sealing by ceramic head and cement Silicone or epoxy sealing (180 ° C max. depending on models) for applications which must resist to humidity;
- Connection by flexible wires as standard, cable or threaded terminals on request. The wires can be mechanically protected by a metal braid or a flexible sheath;
- Orientation with straight exit (in the extension of the cartridge) or with angular exit 90 degrees;
- Accessories: threaded fitting, flange, tab …

In addition to our wide range available from stock, we produce custom-made high density cartridge heaters, with special options:

CCBC low density cartridge heaters : They have been designed for applications requiring watt densities of less than 6 W/cm² and having a surface temperature not exceeding 300°C . Unlike in the high density models, they do not withstand vibrations or shocks. Manufactured only on request , they can be equipped with connections and accessories identical to the high density models.

Some cartridge heaters from stock have a built-in thermocouple. Length of power and thermocouple wires 1000 mm (see technical sheet).

Custom manufacturing : We are able to manufacture custom made cartridge heaters, according to your specifications, subject to a feasibility study. You will find below, a summary of some characteristics. This list is not exhaustive, do not hesitate to consult us.
- Length: 2000 mm, depending on the diameter;
- Voltage: 400 V max. , according to feasibility study;
- Connections: straight exit or angular exit at 90 °. Custom length of wires, connection with cable or threaded terminals, mechanical protection of the supply wires, etc .;
