Finned heaters
Made up of an armored element formed into a pin or a paper clip, these resistors are fitted with crimped rectangular fins or spiral fins .
The finned elements make it possible to install, according to the air speeds and set temperatures, high power densities in forced convection.
Equipped with threaded connections, the finned resistors are installed in convectors, rectangular or circular ventilation ducts (see heating batteries), but also discharge resistors, etc.
We offer many standard references available from stock or special products made according to your specifications.

- Shielded resistors with rectangular or spiral fins
- Coiled heating wire, insulated with strongly compacted magnesia, protected by a metal sheath
- Power supply via flat clamp terminals or threaded terminals, as standard.
- Ranges of resistors stored or made to measure according to your specifications (power, voltage)
Rectangular fin resistors
Our aluminum-zinc finned resistors are designed to be perfectly suited to heating air by natural or forced convection in industrial fields (ovens, ovens, air conditioning heating, etc.).
We also offer all stainless steel finned resistances when high temperature conditions require it (humid or slightly corrosive environment).
Made up of a shielded element formed into a hairpin on which rectangular fins 25×50 mm or 40×70 mm are crimped, our standard resistors have a specific load of approximately 4 W / cm².
They operate in natural convection up to 140 ° C.
We recommend a minimum flow rate so that the working temperature does not exceed 200 ° C for aluzinc models, 300 ° C for all stainless steel models. The temperature on the terminals must never exceed 100 ° C.
Stock range:
- 2 ranges kept in stock: aluminum-zinc alloy or stainless steel fins
- Crimped rectangular fins, dimensions 25×50 mm or 40×70 mm, depending on the model
- Shaped armored element, made of stainless steel
- Electrical connection by flat clamp terminals (aluminum-zinc models), or by threaded rod (stainless steel models)
- Resistor supplied with fixing fittings and nuts.
- Power range: 500 W to 3 kW
- Supply voltage: 230 V mono.
- Resistors sold alone, without cover
.
In addition, we offer accessories for rectangular finned resistors:
- Mounting brackets
- connection cover
.

Spiral fin resistors
Made up of a straight armored element on which a steel or stainless steel strip has been wound, the spiral fin resistors can be bent on demand and take the most complex shapes. This technique allows high power densities (approximately 7W / cm²).
Possibility of greater center distance with rectangular fins.
Spiral fins are generally installed in batteries, ovens, ovens, etc.
Standardized range:
- Shielded element shaped as a hairpin, in Ø 10 mm stainless steel AISI 321 stainless steel.
- Spiral 304 stainless steel fins, diameter 30 mm.
- Fittings: protected steel crimped M14X100 L15, center distance 70 mm.
- Electrical connection by M4 threaded terminals.
- Resistor supplied with fittings, gaskets and nuts.
- Power range: 1 kW to 3 kW
- Load: 6.5 W / cm².
- Supply voltage: 230 V mono.
- Resistors sold alone, without cover.
