Infrared Emitters
Infra red heaters and lamps allow the material to be heated without contact, freeing itself from the atmosphere and thus limiting heat loss. Energy can be quickly transmitted to targeted areas.
The choice of infrared technology depends on the characteristics of the product to be processed.
There are three categories of infrared: short (< 2 µm), medium (2 to 4 µm) and long (4 to 10 µm).

Short infrared is transmitted by lamps operating at very high temperatures (around 2100°C on the filament). This technology is characterized by high power density and almost instantaneous heat emission.
The medium infrared , intended for surface heating, is transmitted by heaters and lamps with medium to fast inertia.
Long infrared , widely used in industry, is emitted by generators working at less than 700°C and having greater thermal inertia than cassettes or lamps.
Products
A wide choice of infrared generators adapted to your needs
- Infrared lamps (Short infrared) : Lamps operating at very high temperature, allowing almost instantaneous heating and high power concentration. They are used in particular for baking powders and lacquers.
- Cassettes and quartz tubes (medium infrared) : Cassettes made of quartz tubes are intended for applications requiring responses from a few seconds to several minutes . They are found in particular on panels made up of multiple models, to heat an area or form parts in the plastics industry.
- Quartz infrared lamps (medium infrared) : More reactive than quartz cassettes, but less powerful than short infrared lamps, these lamps allow targeted heating and are regularly used in the reactivation of adhesives.
- Concave ceramic heaters (medium infrared) : Radiating up to temperatures of 700°C, they benefit from superior mechanical resistance to quartz models. They mainly equip the glass, thermoplastics industries, etc.
- Tubular elements (medium and long infrared) : Robust, tubular heating elements are used in a multitude of applications. Depending on their power density, they can emit long or mid infrared. They are, for example, used to gel paint.
- Ceramic generators (long infrared) : Flat or curved in shape, these robust heaters are commonly used in industrial and engineering processes, particularly in screen printing, thermoforming, etc.
Applications
Infrared heaters are used in many industrial fields such as plastics, food, packaging:
- Heating of plastic materials before thermoforming,
- Drying of metal parts ,
- Heating of food products , maintaining the temperature of dishes in collective catering ,
- Glue reactivation,
- Polymerization of resins and composites, curing of paint…
- screen printing
- Thermal transfer on paper, tarpaulins…
