Flexible flat resistors

The flexible resistors consist of a screen-printed heating tape, insulated with 2 layers of silicone or kapton, allowing work at 200 ° C max.

Their low thickness gives these flexible elements increased reactivity allowing precise temperature control.

They stand out from other flat resistors thanks to their flexibility which facilitates their installation. This technology makes it possible to design particularly complex shapes, while guaranteeing optimum temperature uniformity.

Intended for indirect heating and temperature maintenance of solids and liquids, this technology allows the heating of flat surfaces, but also curved which cannot be done by metal resistances.

Resistant to humidity and chemicals, this technology allows uniform heating, even in the case of complex shapes.

  • Electrical insulation of the heating tape by 2 sheets of silicone reinforced with fiberglass, IP 64.
  • Double electrical insulation resistance
  • Power supply via a 2-wire silicone cable, in the thickness, under patch.
  • Fixing: they can be supplied with a high temperature adhesive coated on the face opposite the connector. By default, they are not adhesive. Other fixing methods: Straps with hooks, velcro or springs …
  • Max power density: 0.7 W / cm²
  • Operating temperature: -60 ° C to + 200 ° C (180 ° C for models with an adhesive side)
  • Accessories: the resistances can be offered with temperature sensors (J thermocouples or PT100 probe), thermostats and temperature limiters.

In addition to our standard rectangular silicone range, we produce tailor-made resistances, according to your specifications: preformed, distribution of heating surfaces, etc.

    • Voltage: 230 V mono, other voltages on request;
    • Accessories: resistances can be customized by temperature sensors (J thermocouples or PT100 probe), thermostats and temperature limiters;

Kapton resistors

Technical characteristics

Kapton resistors are heating resistors 0.2 mm thick, particularly flexible, intended for heating equipment at very low temperatures. They benefit from high reactivity, thanks to their excellent thermal transfer.

They are also suitable for environments requiring chemical resistance without outgassing.

  • The heating circuit, engraved on a metal sheet, is insulated by 2 layers of kapton, IP 64 ;
  • Double electrical insulation resistance;
  • Power supply via 2 silicone wires;
  • Fixing: they can be supplied with a high temperature adhesive coated on the face opposite the connector. By default, they are not adhesive. Other fixing methods: Straps with hooks, velcro or springs.
  • Max power density: 1.5 W / cm² (depending on application);
  • Operating temperature: -270 ° C to + 200 ° C (-30 ° C to + 180 ° C for models with an adhesive side);

The resistors are made to measure, according to the specifications of your specifications.
